MIRANDA HOLIDAY PARK POLICY
So that everyone has an enjoyable stay please read and co-operate
with our park policies. Sorry about the rules but some
people need them.
Office and shop hours 8.30am to 8.00pm Monday to Sunday.
For emergencies and after hours service please press the
buzzer next to front door of the office.
Check out time is no later than 10am. Check
in time is from 1pm onwards.
ACCOUNTS - A deposit of 1st nights tariff per unit booked
is required to confirm all bookings, balance of account is
payable on arrival. Payment must be made for full time
booked. No reduction or refund for early departure/
late arrival or inclement weather. Long weekends, Christmas & New
Year periods a minimum stay is required. Management
retains the right to alter cabin or site arrangement if required. Management
reserves the right to alter tariffs without notice. All
tariffs will be reviewed annually.
CANCELLATIONS - Refund of deposit up to
14 days prior to the arrival date. If less than 14 days prior to arrival
deposits will not be refunded unless the units booked can
be re let out for the full time of booking less 20% cancellation
fee. Please contact us if you need to
cancel your reservation.
CONDUCT & NOISE – we expect common sense and
consideration to be shown at all times to all other guests. No
noise after 10pm and before 7.00am. Except NEW
YEARS EVE 1am. ALCOHOL is to be consumed on your site
or in your unit. The Management reserves the right
to refuse admission to any person and to remove from the
park any person who in their opinion does not conduct themselves
in a decent and reasonable manner. No refund will be
made in such circumstances.
VEHICLE SPEED - 5 KPH - No excuses. Speeding
or Dangerous driving could lead to your vehicle being denied
entry. Watch out for CHILDREN!
CHILDREN - Adults please supervise and control your children. You
are responsible for your child‘s safety at all times.
VISITORS - Must check in at office and cars must be left
in visitor car park. Visitor tariff is $10.00 per adult
and children 1 to 13 years $5.00. If not paid then you will
be liable. Visitors are at the discretion of the management
at all times but are your responsibility and must depart
by 8pm. During long weekends and Christmas & New
Year periods visitors may not be allowed.
ACCOMMODATION - Please notify office of any spills breakages
or faulty equipment. NO smoking in all of our accommodation. Cleaning
charges{$100}for smoky or excessively dirty rooms will apply. No
bikes and BBQ’s on decks.
DAMAGE - Cost of damage to property or accommodation will
be charged.
INTERNET ACCESS - Wireless coverage in most of the park
and coin operated computers in tv lounge.
TV LOUNGE - 6 sky channels. No food or drink allowed
there are no exceptions. Surveillance cameras
operating.
KITCHEN - Our spacious kitchen offers a dinning area, filtered
and boiling water, microwaves, fridges, freezer, toaster,
full oven, hobbs and dish washing area. Kitchen closed
daily from 10.00am to 12.00pm for cleaning. Please
respect the facilities and keep kitchen clean.
BBQ AREA - Electric BBQ’s take $1.00 coins which last
15 mins. After use please leave it clean for the next
guest.
SHOWERS - For hot showers push the green button by the shower
door to receive 6mins of hot water.
HAND BASINS - Cloths are provided for wiping benches clean
for next guest. Please use laundry facility for washing
clothes.
LAUNDRY - Washers and dryers take $1.00 and $2.00 coins,
washing powder $1.00 available at office. Please clean
up when finished.
POOL - Please read rules at pool gate entry.
CHILDREN MUST BE SUPERVISED AT ALL TIMES!
Children 3yrs and under must wear well fitting swimmer nappies
which are available for purchase at the office.
No food, drink, alcohol, smoking, running, jumping or diving
in or around pool area there are no exceptions.

Pool hours
- Adults 6.30am - 9.30am then 12.00pm
- 10.00pm.
- Children 7.30am -
9.30am then 12.00pm - 8.00pm.
Pool closed for cleaning 9.30am
- 12.00pm daily.
Mineral water tarnishes jewellery - remove before entering
pool.
ACCESS AND FAMILY TOILETS /SHOWERS - See staff at office.
TENNIS, TRIKES AND PETANQUE - Equipment available with hire/bond
from office.
TRAMPOLINE - Fun for all ages. Children 6yrs and under
must be supervised. 2 people only at a time. Please
remove footwear. Hours - 8.00am - 8.00pm.
RUBBISH AND RECYCLING - We have provided recycling bins
located around the park. Please help us to help the
environment by using the correct bin.
SEWERAGE DUMP - Please only biodegradable chemicals. Toilet
waste only.
GREY WATER DUMP - Please no toilet waste. No waste
water to run on the ground.
LOST PROPERTY - Will be kept for 3 months then disposed
of. If contact made within 3 months postage/shipping
is your responsibility.
CAMPERVANS/CARAVANS - Must have currant electrical warrant
of fitness.
TENTS - Wanting to connect to power must have an approved
RCD lead.
NO PARKING - On grass anywhere in the park.
PETS - Caravans, campervans and tents only in our pet friendly
area. Animal waste must be picked up and placed in
yellow dog bin.
NO FIRES - At any time, BBQ’s and cookers must be
gas or electric. No BBQ’s on decks.
Please keep off the gardens at all times.
To help conserve New Zealand’s energy resources please
turn off lights when not in use.
