MIRANDA HOLIDAY PARK POLICY
So that everyone has an enjoyable stay please read and co-operate with our park policies. Sorry about the rules but some people need them. Please do not be offended if asked to abide by the rules.
Office and shop hours 8.30am to 8.00pm Monday to Sunday. For emergencies and after hours service please press the buzzer on the left side of the of the office door 24/7.
Check in time is from 1pm onwards. Check out time is no later than 10am. Please leave keys at office.
ACCOUNTS
A deposit of 1st nights tariff per unit booked is required to confirm all bookings, balance of account is payable on arrival. Payment must be made for full time booked. No reduction for early departure or late arrival. Long weekends, Christmas & New Year periods a minimum stay is required. Management retains the right to alter cabin or site arrangement if required. Management reserves the right to alter tariffs without notice. All tariffs will be reviewed annually.
CANCELLATIONS
Refund of deposit up to 14 days prior to the arrival date. If less than 14 days prior to arrival deposits will not be refunded unless the units booked can be re let out for the full time of booking less 20% cancellation fee. No refund for inclement weather or power outages.
CONDUCT & NOISE
We expect common sense and consideration to be shown at all times to all other guests. No Noise after 10pm and before 7.30am.Except NEW YEARS EVE 1am. ALCOHOL is to be consumed on your site or in your unit. Excessive drinking and parties forbidden. The Management reserves the right to refuse admission to any person and to remove from the park any person who in their opinion does not conduct themselves in a decent and reasonable manner. No refund will be made in such circumstances. If you are experiencing a problem please advise management immediately. Tomorrow is too late. After hours buzzer on the left side of office door.
VEHICLE SPEED-5KPH
No excuses. Speeding or Dangerous driving could lead to you and or your vehicle being denied entry. Watch out for CHILDREN
CHILDREN
Adults please supervise and control your children. You are responsible for your child‘s behaviour and safety at all times. For safety, Please no bikes/scooters or skateboards on foot paths.
VISITORS
Are welcome and must check in at office and cars must be left in visitor car park. Visitor tariff is $10.00 per adult and children 1 to 13 years $5.00.
If not paid, then you will be liable. Visitors are at the discretion of the management at all times but are your responsibility and must depart by 8pm. During long weekends and Christmas & New Year periods visitors may be limited, please check with office staff before inviting visitors. Visitors are not permitted to arrive after 8pm.
ACCOMMODATION
Please notify office of any spills breakages or faulty equipment immediately so we can rectify it. NO smoking in all of our accommodation and buildings. Cleaning charges {$100} for smoky or excessively dirty rooms will apply. Please keep bikes/scooters/skatboards and BBQ’s off all decks and ramps.
DAMAGE
Cost of damage to property or accommodation will be charged.
INTERNET ACCESS
Wireless coverage in most of the park and coin operated computers in tv lounge.
TV LOUNGE
6 sky channels. No food or drink allowed there are no exceptions. Children under 14 years must be supervised by an adult. Please respect this facility. Surveillance cameras operating.
KITCHEN
Our spacious kitchen offers a dinning area, filtered and boiling water, microwaves, fridges, freezer, toaster, full oven, hobs and dish washing area. Kitchen closed daily from 10.00am to 12.00pm for cleaning. Please respect the facilities and keep kitchen clean.
BBQ AREA
Electric BBQ’s take $1.00 coins which last 15 mins. Please leave it clean for the next guest.
SHOWERS
For hot showers push the green button by the shower door to receive 6mins of hot water.
HAND BASINS
Cloths are provided for wiping benches clean for next guest. Please use laundry facility for washing clothes.
LAUNDRY
Washers (30mins) and dryers (45mins) $2.00 each, washing powder $1.00 available at office. Please clean up when finished.
POOL
Please enjoy the Hot Mineral Pool and take a moment to read the rules at pool gate entry.
Safety comes first. CHILDREN MUST BE SUPERVISED AT ALL TIMES!
Children 3yrs and under must wear swimmer nappies which are available for purchase at the office.
No food, drink, alcohol, smoking, running, jumping or diving in or around pool area.NO EXCEPTIONS.

POOL HOURS
Adults 6.30am - 9.30am then 12.00pm - 10.00pm.
Children 7.30am - 9.30am then 12.00pm - 8.00pm.
Pool closed for cleaning 9.30am - 12.00pm daily.
Mineral water tarnishes jewellery remove before entering pool.
Miranda Hot Springs is a separate bussiness. Entry fee discount available at Park office.
ACCESS AND FAMILY TOILETS /SHOWERS
See staff at office.
TENNIS, TRIKES, BIKES AND PETANQUE
Equipment available with hire/bond from office. Adult to sign a hire agreement for trikes and bikes.
TRAMPOLINE
Fun for all ages. Children 6yrs and under must be supervised. 2 people only at a time. Please remove footwear. Hours - 8.00am - 8.00pm.
RUBBISH AND RECYCLING
- We have provided recycling bins located around the park. Please help us to help the environment by using the correct bin.
DUMP STATIONS
BW = Black water ie Toilet waste only
GW = Grey water ie sink and shower waste only
Look for location on park map marked BW and GW. Please no wastes to run onto ground or into drains.
LOST PROPERTY
Will be kept for 3 months then disposed of. If contact made within 3 months postage/shipping is your responsibility.
CAMPERVANS/CARAVANS
Must have currant electrical warrant of fitness.
PARKING OR DRIVING
On grass is not permitted anywhere in the park.
WASHING OF VEHICLES ONSITE
Please ask at office for washing procedure.
PETS
Pets are permotted in our pet friendly area only at the Park entrance, available for caravans, campervans and tents. Animal waste must be picked up and placed in yellow dog bin. Please insure dogs are kept on a leash. Pets are not permitted in any accommodation.
NO FIRES
Or Fireworks at any time, BBQ’s and cookers must be gas or electric. No BBQ’s on decks.
Please keep off the gardens at all times.
To help conserve New Zealand’s energy resources please turn off lights and appliances when not in use.
